Chess Sponsorships

Our primary goal, at ICS, is to promote chess worldwide to help develop critical thinking skills, build self-esteem, engender discipline and promote academic achievement.

We made the first step in achieving this goal by creating a complete chess training program and by sharing our chess knowledge with every person who is interested in improving at chess.

Although we are a for-profit company we believe it is imperative that we not only promote the benefits of chess to the widest possible audience, but also make chess a part of our education and culture.

In order to fulfill this vision we actively sponsor chess competitions. ICS has already sponsored scholastic championships like: the Midwest Scholastic Class Championships and The Oregon High School State Championship and has a sponsorship agenda for 2008 full of chess events.

Chess should gain the positive support of more and more companies and organizations from the chess industry and not only, to become accessible to all enthusiasts. The world of chess cannot function in silos – we must all work together to drive change.

If you are a tournament organizer or a chess team leader and you want to discuss ICS sponsorship details and requirements, please contact us at raul.neagos@chessarea.com
